Exam practice I

As I promised, I'm including a new entry with a type of exercise which you found a bit difficult in the Module 7 test: cloze tests. This particular one should be 'easy' for you, but this is the best way to sart, from easy to difficult! I'll let you do the exercise and I'll include the key sooner or later.

Here's the KEY. 1) for 2) who 3) her 4) the 5) to 6) some 7) When 8) Then 9) with 10) crying/screaming 11) on 12) nobody/no one 13) to 14) saw 15) until/till 16) seen 17) since 18) ago 19) used 20) more.

Module 8, Unit 4. Modals: obligation and absence of obligation

Here's my contribution to your revision of modal verbs. As you will see, there are a couple of extra modals and expressions in the exercise. Sorry about that, but I couldn't find anything more appropriate.

List of irregular verbs

I've realised that some of you really need to revise irregular verbs! Here you have a list of the most common ones. A mistake in an irregular verb is considered a very serious mistake, so be careful in the tests.
